'Day time' in the Bible

“In the daytime they meet in darkness,And at noon they grope as in the night.

O my God, I call out by day, but You do not answer;And by night, but I find no rest nor quiet.

Yet the Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,And in the night His song will be with me,A prayer to the God of my life.

In the daytime He led them with a cloudAnd all the night with a light of fire.

And there will be a pavilion for shade from the heat by day, and a refuge and a shelter from the storm and the rain.

And the lookout called like a lion,“O Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower by day,And I am stationed every night at my guard post.

“I will set fire to Egypt;Pelusium will writhe in [great] anguish,Thebes shall be torn openAnd Memphis shall be in daily distress.

So you will stumble in the daytime,And the [false] prophet will also stumble with you in the night;And I will destroy your mother (Israel).

Now in the daytime Jesus was teaching in [the porches and courts of] the temple, but at night He would go out and spend the night on the mount that is called Olivet.

Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours [of light] in the day? Anyone who walks in the daytime does not stumble, because he sees [by] the light of this world.

suffering wrong [destined for punishment] as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a delight to revel in the daytime [living luxuriously]. They are stains and blemishes [on mankind], reveling in their deceptions even as they feast with you.
